RIME & KC ORTIZ - “SKETCHY M**THERFUCKERS” EXHIBITION
Opening tomorrow is a dual show at Known Gallery on Farifax displaying the work of THESEVENTHLETTER crew’s RIME and KC Ortiz. The show is titled “SKETCHY M%#HERFUCKERS,” takes a childhood interest in pens, pencils, and markers on paper and brings it somewhere that it rarely sees - the walls of an important gallery. RIME makes great points in this studio visit video that when working on canvas and other expensive surfaces, artists get too cautious and lose some of the exploration that cheap media such as a newspaper and a marker can provide.
Australian duo Dabs & Myla will will also have their “BREAK NIGHT LOVERS” exhibition on display during the “SKETCHY M%#HERFUCKERS” show, which runs until May 19th. Find details below.
