Ari Marcopoulos is a Dutch film-maker and photographer who works primarily on either coast of the United States - starting his career as Andy Warhol’s assistant in NY but receiving his first institution-recognized praise at the Berkeley Art Museum near San Francisco. The artist has focused on an adventurous lifestyle as the purpose of his many series’, and his new collection titled “Wherever You Go” debuts tomorrow in a solo show at New York City’s Marlborough Chelsea.
