RYAN MCGINESS - WOMEN EXHIBITION IN NEW YORK CITY
Ryan McGiness’ “Women” collection is currently being displayed across New York City in a unique manner. The series can be first viewed at Gering & López uptown, where the artist’s working process can be seen wholly in black and white. Charles Bank Gallery on the Lower East Side displays works in fluorescent paintings and sculptures, many to be viewed under blacklight. In either case, the works all display McGinness’ deconstructive process and takes the body of one of life’s more beautiful subject matters into account. “Women: Sketches & Solutions” displays the artist’s method for the first time and is open through June 30th.
