Often criticized for its exploitative direction, gallery incorporated street art and those that see over the genre are in a constant state of defense. Patrick Nguyen sits down with Gestalten TV to discuss his role in co-producing a book on the topic. Interviewing art sellers, gallerists, and museum operators alongside the artists whose work they show, the new 400-page book by Gestalten, titled Beyond the Street, takes readers around the world to observe some of the most famous street artists and find out what it is about them that is so captivating.

While some, like Blu, think that their work speaks more for itself than any text on an interview page could do, the book is full of interesting commentary from a group of individuals who are each just as passionate about what they do as the next.
