As José Parlá prepares for his newest exhibition at the brand-new BAM Fisher wing of the Brooklyn Art Museum, video captures his graceful process for the permanent installation requested by museum curator Richard B. Fisher. The piece, titled Gesture Performing Dance, Dance Performing Gesture stands now alongside a selection of works by the artist in the museum, and displays proudly the responsive and elusive style of the storied street artist.
