FUTURELAND 2012: THE AMERICAN FLAG AT AR4T IN LAGUNA BEACH
The upcoming election surely has your Facebook wall full of posts on either main candidate, as well as poignant comments on American ideals of freedom. AR4T Gallery in Laguna Beach has taken to the opportunity to provide a commentary on these ideals with an exhibition centering on the symbol of the American flag. In “Futureland 2012″, each artist has been asked for their interpretation of the American Flag. A simple but powerful subject. Each one of us come from different views and backgrounds, with sometimes vastly different voices and opinions on which direction to go… yet during good times & bad we are all neighbors living together under one flag – unified in a simple yet very complex idea of freedom.
