CANADIAN ARTIST TURNS DERELICT FARMHOUSE INTO LIFE-SIZED DOLLHOUSE
Canadian artist Heather Benning created a beautiful installation when she decided to rip the back off of an abandoned farmhouse and turn it into a life-sized dollhouse. The project took her about two years, and she had a blast refurnishing each room in the house to fit the theme with a Rococo color palette and Victorian furniture. Re-shingling the roof and reboarding and plastering the rooms took the majority of the impact in the transformation, aside from shearing off one side of the building and covering it in Plexiglass.
